Making the Internet Work for Your Business

Ikona IT to appear at the Bridgend County Business Forum on the 24th November 2010.

After a hugely successful series of IT and web seminars in 2009, Ikona IT are pleased to announce the launch of their autumn seminar programme. Ikona will be appearing at the Bridgend County Business Forum to deliver its “Making the Internet Work for Your Business” seminar.

The internet is now seen as the most important area for all businesses. It allows SME’s to compete on a level playing field with the largest of multinationals corporations. However, harnessing the web’s potential is still seen as a difficult task, with many businesses failing to capitalise on their opportunities.

“Making the Internet Work for Your Business” will provide business owners with the tools to move their business on the web forward. The seminar will show how to maximise their existing website, harness the power of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Google Adwords, e-marketing and e-commerce.

Director of Ikona Spiro Ginis says “As the economy picks up, businesses are looking to grow and move forward. The internet is often seen as a key area for businesses to focus on. However, people have been deterred because they see it as too complex or costly.” “The reality is very different. If used effectively, the internet can be the most efficient, and cost effective sales tool any business has.”

This free event is a must attend, and the ideal opportunity for business to gather some expert advice, whilst enjoying the opportunity to network with other successful businesses within South Wales.
